International Conference: Food Revolution 2026 – science, supply chains and mass consumption

From May 11 to 13, 2026, the second edition of “Food Revolution” was held in Mestre (Venice), an event of science, ideas, dialogue between ecosystems and connections, which aimed to accompany the ecological transition of agribusiness with an operational and not just a popularizing slant. Scientific institutions, technology companies, certification bodies, professional associations, sectoral platforms and specialized media gathered around the themes of sustainability, innovation and transformation of agrifood supply chains. The international scientific event, with a mission to bridge the gap between science and business, but provided a platform for dialogue between industry and academia, aimed at identifying concrete solutions for sustainable food production. Fifteen sessions, more than sixty presentations and a dozen interactive panels were held, including one by our research fellow Grazia Soccio, entitled “Technological innovations for the sustainability of agri-food systems.
