From May 18 to 20 last, the Director of the National Research System of the National Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation of Panama, Sandra Sharry, visited Trieste. Accompanied by Project Manager Elisabetta Gregoric, she visited several research centers, including the OGS (National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics), and met with the President of the Trieste International Foundation, Marina Cobal.
A special focus was dedicated to the Quantitative Sustainability Laboratory and, given the high standard of the scientific and research system of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ample opportunities for collaboration are anticipated.
