“QUANTUM DREAMS – Research and Business Creation in Quantum Technologies” is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Organized by FIT, OGS, SISSA, ICTP, and Confindustria to mark the centenary of Quantum Physics (IYQ2025), the conference will take place at Sala Luttazzi, in the museum hub of Trieste’s Porto Vecchio.

In a world advancing at unprecedented speeds toward technologies that will revolutionize how we work, live, and even think, “Quantum Dreams” is an event dedicated to the transformative potential of quantum technologies. It is a journey through science, innovation, and vision to discover how quantum computing, sensing, and communications will change our daily lives and to collectively imagine new and unexpected applications. Through keynotes by scientists and entrepreneurs, and a panel featuring startups and policymakers, we will explore the boundaries of the possible and dream of what lies beyond: from cutting-edge drug design and high-precision diagnostics to production process optimization and data security.
